Miles Ybor
The five-story 108,000 sf mixed use building, currently under construction, is situated on the historical location of the first Ybor City Railroad Station. It was at this site, in 1891, that Jose MartÍ arrived in Ybor City for the first time and met with a small band of Cuban Patriots. The Site provides an opportune connection with Centro Ybor, the “piazza” of Modern day Ybor City. The design incorporates gridded transom with translucent glazing or colored glazing to tie into the unique feel of a place with so much history and culture. Building shutters, balconies, and awnings to create a covered pedestrian experience that is indictive of Ybor City. The building will consist of 91 micro units, 168 private rooms with office and retail space as well.
